IRT & RYDF Launch a New Program
In alignment with the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) vision and mission to continue to grow the sport of racquetball and support new generations of professional players, the IRT and the Reaching Your Dreams Foundation (RYDF) are launching this week a new program to help expand the Tour and assist in player development.
The IRT will seek tax-deductible corporate donations to RYDF. RYDF will provide 90% of all donations to the IRT to be used within the scope of RYDF’s charitable objectives. The funds will mainly be used for:
- Player support for tournaments – including assistance with travel expenses, such as flights, hotels and food.
- Mentoring – including skills training for racquetball, mental preparation, and the business aspects of managing their racquetball careers.
- An increase in the prize money available for Tier 1 events.
- Anti-doping program to secure fair competition and safe environment.
The money given to the IRT from this program will be directly invested for the players.
