IRT RETURNS TO SIOUX FALLS AS TITLE RACE HEATS UP
The International Racquetball Tour heads back to Sioux Falls as the 2025 season continues to take shape, and this stop at the Sioux Falls Family YMCA is already loaded with compelling storylines.
From January 29–31, the world’s best racquetball players will battle once again on IRT Tour glass, with momentum, rankings, and confidence all very much in play.
KANE LOOKS FOR BACK-TO-BACK IN SIOUX FALLS
One year ago in Sioux Falls, Kane Waselenchuk delivered a dominant performance, defeating Eduardo Portillo in the final to claim the title. Now, the sport’s all-time great returns looking to defend his championship and add another trophy to his already historic résumé.
Waselenchuk has been a model of consistency throughout the season, but as the tour has shown time and again, no title comes easy — especially with the current field firing on all cylinders.
MOSCOSO ENTERS RED-HOT
Perhaps the most intriguing storyline entering Sioux Falls belongs to Conrrado Moscoso. The Bolivian star arrives riding a two-tournament win streak, having captured the last two IRT pro stops in convincing fashion.
Moscoso’s combination of speed, shot-making, and confidence has made him the player everyone is watching right now. With momentum clearly on his side, Sioux Falls could represent another major step in his push toward the top of the year-end rankings.
The question is simple: can anyone slow him down?
WILL PARRILLA MAKE ANOTHER RUN?
Don’t overlook Andrée Parrilla, who has quietly put together a strong season and continues to show the ability to make deep runs when his game clicks. After breaking through with another finals appearance last tournament, Parrilla will be looking to once again position himself among the final contenders.
At the same time, Sioux Falls has a history of producing surprises, and several previous winners from earlier this season will be eager to remind the tour that they remain very much in the conversation.
A FIELD THAT PROMISES DRAMA
With multiple players capable of winning on any given day, the Sioux Falls stop shapes up as one of the most competitive brackets of the season. The combination of returning champions, red-hot contenders, and hungry challengers sets the stage for three days of high-level racquetball.
Matches will be played best two out of three games to 15, ensuring fast-paced, pressure-filled encounters where momentum can shift quickly and execution under pressure will be decisive.
WATCH IT LIVE IN SIOUX FALLS
Fans will have the opportunity to watch all the action live at the Sioux Falls Family YMCA, with matches running throughout the weekend. Whether you’re following the title race closely or simply want to experience professional racquetball up close, Sioux Falls promises non-stop intensity from start to finish.
