IRT Expands to Argentina and Ecuador, Strengthening Central and South American Presence

The International Racquetball Tour continues its global growth with the exciting announcement of new events in Argentina and Ecuador, further expanding the Tour’s footprint across Central and South America.

These additions mark a significant step forward for the IRT, bringing the total number of countries with Tour presence in the region to four, joining Costa Rica and Mexico. With some of the world’s top racquetball talent coming from Central and South America, this expansion reflects both the strength of the region and the IRT’s commitment to growing the sport internationally.

The upcoming events include a stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina from April 30 to May 3, 2026, classified as a SAT-250 event

as well as two events in Ecuador, with one scheduled for October 8–11, 2026 (SAT-150) and another already planned for April 2–4, 2027. These tournaments will provide new opportunities for players in the region to compete at a high level while bringing the excitement of the IRT Tour to new audiences.

Central and South America have long been home to some of the most dynamic and talented players in the sport, and the IRT is proud to continue building stronger connections within these communities. By expanding into Argentina and Ecuador, the Tour aims to create more pathways for emerging talent while delivering world-class racquetball experiences to fans across the region.

In addition to these confirmed events, the IRT is currently in discussions with additional countries including Guatemala, Bolivia, and Chile as part of its continued international expansion efforts.
