Forest View Classic Recap & Mile High Open Preview

The IRT Satellite Season Rolls On!

The IRT Satellite Series continued this past weekend with the Forest View Classic, held in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This Satellite 250 event brought together a competitive field of ten players, including four promising juniors — Grant Williams, JC Herrera, Benjamin Horner, and London Townsend — all eager to make their mark against veteran talent.

The weekend saw its fair share of excitement, including one of the biggest upsets of the event when Victor Migliore took down touring pro Thomas Carter in a thrilling match. Migliore’s run would eventually end in the finals, where hometown favorite Jeremy Dixon captured the title with impressive consistency and poise throughout the weekend.

A big thank you goes out to IRT President Dave Negrete for hosting the event and continuing to support grassroots racquetball development through the IRT Satellite Tour. Events like this showcase the depth of talent in the U.S. and the next generation ready to rise.

Up Next: Mile High Open – Denver, Colorado

The next stop on the IRT Satellite Tour takes us to the Mile High Open, held at the Denver Athletic Club from November 6–9. This Satellite 350 event promises to be another exciting chapter, as the IRT and LPRT join forces once again — this time with the LPRT hosting the IRT!

The draw features IRT pro Adam Manilla, several of Colorado’s top-ranked players, and a special appearance from IRT legend Woody Clouse, who remains a fan favorite in his home state. The Mile High Open will also host many of the top LPRT professionals, making this event a true celebration of high-level racquetball and community connection.

With the momentum building after the JMB Golden State Open and the Forest View Classic, fans can expect another weekend full of intense rallies, local pride, and plenty of storylines to follow. There is still time to register for this event!
