Born on September 10, 2002, in Escobedo, Nuevo León, Mexico, Erick Trujillo is one of the most promising young players in professional racquetball. At 5’6″ and 155 pounds, he may be smaller in stature, but his explosive play and determination make him a formidable presence on the court. Trujillo made his professional debut at the 2021 Suivant Consulting Pro-Am presented by Zurek Construction in Lilburn, Georgia, at just 18 years and 122 days old.
Over the course of four seasons, Trujillo has amassed a win-loss record of 32-24, with a 57.1% career win percentage. He reached his highest year-end ranking of #7 in 2024, a testament to his rapid rise in the sport. Representing his home country of Mexico with pride, Trujillo has garnered sponsorships from Zurek, Dovetail by Design, and Clinic Dacer, which support his journey on and off the court.
Balancing his racquetball career with academics, Trujillo is a student at the Facultad de Salud Pública y Nutrición in Monterrey, where he resides. Outside of racquetball, he has a deep passion for fútbol (soccer), and pickleball which he enjoys during his free time.
